Hebei Jizhou Hengtong Cotton Storage Center announced its openning recently. This is the third largest cotton storage and distributing center in China, followed by Xinjiang and Weiqiao, Shandong.

Jizhou Hongtong Cotton Storage Co., Ltd. is invested by Hebei Xingyu Textile Material Co., Ltd. The later is a logistic and trade company, invloving in cotton purchange, processing, import agency, bonded warehouse and storage. It is also the largest cotton supplier in Hebei, and the largest sales agent of India cotton in this province.

Hongtong cotton storage project started in Dec. 2009, with a signature in Beijing and was regarded as a key construction program in 2010 in Hebei. It covers an area of 316 mu, with investment of 500 million yuan. It comprises the function of cotton inspection, supervision, processing and logistics. There are 50 warehouses in 25 buildings for ginned cotton alone, with an area of 50,000 square meters. It could stockpile lint cotton 100,000 tons in one time.

The total storage is expected to be 300,000 tons, with annual sales five billion yuan and profit 250 million yuan. It will be another National Cotton Warehouse and cotton exchange market and cotton futures transaction warehouse. It could help to the reform of cotton quality inspection system, paly a role in the business financing for cotton ginner and solve the problem of cotton purchase. This program has been regarded as spot sourcing and trade base of cotton product by China Textile Import & Export Co., and China Cotton Storeage Co.
