Cotton yarn prices continued increasing in the past month on the international market as a result of much higher cotton prices. Demand is clearly anticipating a new rise in cotton prices. Viscose yarn prices considerably climbed in the last two months with certain yarns from China even gaining US$1. Buyers continue accepting such increases as a result of lack of yarns, especially on the viscose open-end market.
